While we love a show-stopping cake, we also like to opt for bite-sized cupcakes that'll fit into our tiny party guests' tiny hands. These also make for an easier cleanup and eliminate any need for cake cutting.
Step 1
Make or order cupcakes of your flavor choice from your local bakery.
Step 2
We used buttercream frosting with a round tip (can request this from your baker as well). We chose to do a light yellow, light green, and light red.
Step 3
We used flat, circular sprinkles for the cheeks and a small tube of black gel icing for the eyes and smile.
Step 4
Use our Little Chef Dessert plates as a guide to place the sprinkles and icing to make cute little faces!
Pro Tip: Do the black gel icing on the face (eyes and smile) as close to the party as possible to avoid the icing bleeding.
