šŸŽ The Story Behind Our Equestrian Edit

Why we created our horse party collection—and the family legacy behind itĀ šŸ¤

There are some collections we design just because they’re beautiful or fun.
And then there are the ones that feel deeper.

The Equestrian Edit at POP Party Supplies is the latter.

This collection wasn’t just inspired by a trend—it was shaped by generations of family, tradition, and a deep love for horses that runs through my name and my memories.

Triton Museum. Warburton Ave. Santa Clara. On Dec. 23, 1965, Santa Clara's Triton Museum of Art received its non-profit status and continued adherence to its mission of serving the community. The Triton

🐓 A Family Rooted in Horses

My last name is Morgan.Ā And in our family, that has always meant something.Ā

For generations, my family raised Morgan horses—America’s first horse breed, founded in 1789 by the legendary stallion Justin Morgan. Known for their beauty, strength, and unmatched disposition, Morgan horses have long been considered the perfect horse.

A horse I always liked, Orcland Bold Fox bred by Orcland Farms and brought to California by Robert Morgan of Triton Farms. Foaled 01/30/1963. 1966 National Champion. 101 registered Morgan foals: 21

They’re distinctive in their build—slightly more ā€œup-headed,ā€ with a proud, alert presence—and known for their intelligence, loyalty, and heart.

But to me, they were never just a breed.Ā They signified family.

🌾 Red Fox Stables & The Magic of Tradition

My grandfather, Robert Morgan, owned a 300-acre farm in Northern California called Red Fox Stables. He later purchased Green Mountain Stock Farm in Vermont—the historic home of Justin Morgan—and built a bi-coastal horse program dedicated to preserving and promoting the Morgan horse.

Red Fox Stables became the backdrop for so many of my earliest memories—
family gatherings, adventures on the ranch, hillarious conversations, and most memorably, holiday meals… which were always served up on my grandmother’s china.

They weren’t just dishes—they were tradition.

And they represented a sense of continuity that felt bigger than any one moment.

Over the years, my family bred and placed over 450 Morgan horses and believed deeply in the breed—not just as an animal, but as a symbol of integrity, beauty, and partnership.

One of my grandfather’s most meaningful initiatives was giving away a Morgan horses to a child in the 4-H club each year—introducing a new generation to the breed and everything it stood for.

His belief was big, and his enthusiasm was infectious.Ā He believed that a partnership with a Morgan horse was one of life’s greatest adventures—a priceless heritage truly understood only by those who experienced it.

šŸŽ Why This Became a Party Collection

As I built POP Party Supplies, I kept coming back to a feeling that was missing at the time.Ā Covid had hit, and we were all living more isolated lives—community gatherings discouraged, celebrations paused.

I kept asking myself:

What if we could create party products that made you feel something?

Not just cute plates.
Not just themed napkins.

But pieces that felt worthy of memory-making—things that would stay with you.

The Equestrian Edit is inspired directly by my grandmother’s china—the same horse-adorned plates we used during holidays at Red Fox Stables.

Classic. Traditional. Deeply nostalgic.

Because to me, horses were never just horses.

They were:

Home
Loyalty
Tradition
Family

And memories that last far beyond a single moment

šŸŽ The Heart of It All

My grandfather used to say the Morgan horse was a ā€œpriceless heritageā€ā€”something to be known, enjoyed, and passed on.

In a small way, this collection is my version of that.

A way to take something deeply personal—and share it.

So whether you’re planning a pony party, hosting a birthday, or simply setting a beautiful table…

I hope this collection brings a little bit of that feeling to you, too.

✨ Because around here, we believe: The best parties aren’t just thrown—they’re part of your story.
